Bury the Line, Not Our Children

Coalition of West End Communities for Burying the Line (R.E.T.A. West)

Welcome to 2010!

We keep getting emails asking “What’s next?”

Well, first of all, we have all taken a well-deserved rest and our down time will continue for just a short while longer.  After that, we’ll be moving forward with renewed vigour and you can be sure we’ll be letting everyone know what the next steps are. In the meantime, we hope you had a safe and happy holiday season!

The Precautionary Principle states

"when there are indications of possible adverse affects, though they remain uncertain, the risks from

doing nothing may be far greater than the risks of taking action to control these exposures.

The burden of proof is shifted from those suspecting risk to those who discount it" (2006 Benevento Resolution).
